Who we are
NeoClinical Research (Sweet Hope Research Specialty, Inc.) is a clinical research site at 7100 West 20th Avenue, Suite 411, Hialeah, FL 33016. This policy explains how we handle information collected through this website and when you contact us about a study.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you call, email or write to us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address and details about your health.
Study applications. Applications to our studies are made on LocalTrial (localtrial.com), which handles them under its own privacy policy and shares your application with us so our team can contact you.
Information collected automatically. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server records (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to operate and secure the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions and contact you about studies you may qualify for
- To check eligibility, schedule visits and conduct studies according to their protocols
- To meet our legal, regulatory and ethics obligations
- To keep this website working and secure
If you take part in a study
Before you join a study, the informed consent form explains what information the study collects, who receives it and how it is protected. That information is handled according to the study protocol, the requirements of the reviewing ethics board (IRB) and applicable laws, including HIPAA where it applies. Sponsors generally receive coded data that does not identify you by name.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed: with study sponsors, contract research organizations, ethics boards and regulators as described in a study's consent form; with service providers who help us operate, under confidentiality obligations; and when the law requires it.
Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about studies and appointments. You can ask us to stop at any time, or reply STOP to our text messages. Message and data rates may apply.
Security and retention
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. Research records are kept for the periods that regulations and study sponsors require; other information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by using the contact details below. Some research records must be kept by law and cannot be deleted.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13. Studies that include minors involve a parent or legal guardian, who gives permission on the child's behalf.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
